LastDataRefresh Function

Description

The LastDataRefresh function makes it easy to see when information was last returned from NetSuite. This includes Cached and NetSuite data.

Function Arguments

Argument NameInput Information
SourceGets the date and time of the last data source update from NetSuite. This input can be "NetSuite" or "Cache" with NetSuite being the default if no input is found.

Remarks

The returned data type is set to General. Users will want to go to Home > Number in Excel to adjust the format to show either Date, Time, or some combination of the two as the format.

Example

If a user wanted to return the time of the last data refresh for their NetSuite data, they can follow the instructions below.

  1. Select Finsyte Functions > LastDataRefresh
  2. Select OK without typing in any parameter
  3. Highlight the cell where a value was returned. Go to Home > Number and change the format of the cell to accurately display date and time.

  4. Review output. Check the function works correctly by hitting Refresh > Current Sheet and seeing the time update.
